Jesus Arboleya Cervera
(Havana, Cuba, 1947) Graduated in Historical Sciences in 1975 and received his Doctorate in the same field in 1995. From 1993 to 1996 he was a researcher in the Centre for Studies on Matters of National Security; he has collaborated with the Centre for Studies in Alternative Politics and in the Centre for United States Studies in the University of Havana, with the Centre for American Studies and with the Centre for European Studies. He has served permanent tours of duty in the U.N. from 1975 to 1979 and in the Section of Cuban Interests in Washington D.C. until 1981. Until 1990, he led the group charged with the task of emigration in the U.S. Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) and served as advisor to the president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People. Dr. Ulrich Brand
(Konstanz-Insel Mainau, 1967) Doctor in Philosophy, Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main, 2000, with the thesis “Non-governmental organizations, ecological and state crises. Outline of critical research on Non-governmental organizations”, M.A. in Political Science in 1996 with the thesis “Are regions important? The Free Trade Treaty in North America as a strategy for the formation of a model for growth”. He has received various awards for his research.

Claudia Korol
(Argentina, 1958) Secretary of the Editorial Board for the America Libre Magazine, editor of magazines and books, and popular educator. She has written the books “Rebellion, report to the Chilean youth,”, “Che and the Argentines”, “Dialogue with Gladys Marin”, and “Feminism and Marxism. Dialogue with Fanny Edelman”. She co-authored the book “Southern Cone: a Church for Liberty (History of the Liberation Theology in Latin America)”, edited by ADITAL. She writes for the newspaper Action of the IMFC in Argentina, for Punto Final of Chile, for the newspaper of the Association of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo and for Brazil de Fato. She is the Argentine correspondent of ADITAL (News Agency of Frei Tito of Brazil). She is coordinator of the Popular Education Chair in the Popular University of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo.
